The AEI App can be used anywhere in Australia.
Is it free to use?
It's free to download, and free to use
Can Deaf/hard of hearing people without Auslan skills use this service to lipread the Auslan interpreter without signing?
At this time, it is primarily for Auslan users.
Can over 65s use the service?
Deaf and hard of hearing people of all ages can use the AEI App.
Is this only for NDIS participants?
It doesn't matter if you're an NDIS, Aged Care or unfunded participant, the AEI App is free to use!
Is it 24/7?
Yes, it is a 24/7 service.
Does it only work on mobile networks, or can it be used over WiFi too?
As long you have data or access to WiFi, you will be able to use the AEI App.
Will it work on computer and tablets?
No, it is only available on smartphones (iOS and Android).
