Disability Royal Commission

The Disability Royal Commission was established in April 2019 in response to community concern about widespread reports of violence against, and the neglect, abuse and exploitation of people with disability.

The Disability Royal Commission's job is to look into reports of violence, neglect, abuse and exploitation of people with a disability.

Expression Australia supports the Royal Commission into Disability and the improvements that the Commission wants to achieve for all people who are Deaf or living with a disability.

We oppose any abuse and neglect that may have taken place against people who are Deaf or who have a disability.

Expression Australia believes in transparent and open conversations which may help us to improve our service provision to our clients and community.

If you have any concerns about how Expression Australia has provided services in the past, we have processes for you to discuss your concerns. We invite you to contact our Interim CEO, Andrew Lyall at andrew.lyall@expression.com.au.
