Australian Digital Inclusion Index Survey

Digital inclusion is about how much we are using technology – to learn new skills and broaden our education, to enhance our quality of life and promote social and economic wellbeing. With digital technologies now an integral part of everyday life, those who are not connected are becoming increasingly disadvantaged.

You are invited to participate in the Australian Digital Inclusion Index Survey. The survey opens on Thursday, 22 March 2018 and closes on Sunday, 15 April 2018.

This survey measures digital inclusion and the results will help build a better understanding of the digital experiences of people who are deaf or hard living in our community.

The survey is anonymous and asks questions on how, where and why you access the internet, and how much you spend on internet services. It might be a good idea to have your phone and internet bills handy to answer some of the questions. The survey should only take around 30 minutes and needs to be completed in one sitting.

At the end of the survey you will receive your own personal digital inclusion score, so you can see how you are tracking in the digital age.

VicDeaf will get a report on the findings. This information will be useful for us in our program and service planning and advocacy work.  The findings may also be developed into a case study and published in the 2018 Australian Digital Inclusion Index Report.
