Vicdeaf Property Update December 2013
As many of you know, in the last few months Ernst and Young has been reviewing Vicdeaf’s property and office needs. I would now like to provide you with an update of our progress.
The main aim of the review was to find out if our offices, especially our Albert Street, East Melbourne office (which we own) suited the needs of the community, our clients, as well as working out what our staff thought about the offices.
We have not yet finalised our decision, but Ernst and Young has completed a draft report which confirms that Albert Street in East Melbourne does not meet our needs for the community, clients or staff into the future.
Ernst and Young is now preparing more information to help the Board make their final decision early next year.
On behalf of the Vicdeaf Board of Directors I would like to thank everyone who has provided feedback – it has been a great help to us during this process.
I will provide you with a further update early in 2014.
