Expression Australia lands in Western Australia

On June 5th, otherwise known as WA Day, Expression Australia proudly announced that we would be commencing services in Western Australia.

Working out of a gorgeous historic building in Market Street, Fremantle, our Expression WA staff have been working hard to establish a presence in our third state and cannot wait to welcome the Western Australian Deaf and hard of hearing community into our new space.

Location

Located in what's known as Fremantle's Cappuccino strip, our WA office is right in the heart of the community, which makes both establishing a presence as well as travel to the space easy. The bright building is easy to find, and we hope the lively atmosphere brings a lot of energy into our office.

History

The building was built in 1883, one year before what would become Expression Australia was established!

According to historical records, this location has been a shop, a butchers, an auction house, a funeral house, a restaurant and a café. We feel honoured to be moving into a location that has been serving the local community for 140 years as we aspire to do the same.
