What do you think of Albert St, East Melbourne?

Hello. I’m Chris Mathieson, the CEO of Vicdeaf.

I would like to invite you to be a part of our community consultations for Vicdeaf’s accommodation needs.

Vicdeaf has started reviewing its accommodation – all the offices it uses, including the building we own and the offices we rent. This process is normal for any organisation to look at accommodation from time to time.

The review will look very carefully at our Head Office on Albert Street, East Melbourne. We own this building.

The review is to make sure that Vicdeaf’s accommodation is used in the best possible way, and that it is right for our long-term growth plan and strategy, as well as for our staff and our community & clients.

It is important to make sure that all of our offices are appropriate for Vicdeaf’s needs. As part of our review, we have asked Ernst & Young to provide an independent report on our accommodation options and a recommendation of what might be best for us.

We are very keen to find out what you think about how suitable our offices are, and about what we might need in the future.

We will be holding the following community consultations:

  • At Albert Street on Wednesday 25 September at 6pm
  • In Geelong in early October, at a time and venue to be confirmed

The Albert Street session will include interactive live streaming so that people from all over the state can be involved. We will post more details about that soon.

We will also have an online survey on our website that you can use to provide feedback.

Thank you and I look forward to receiving your ideas about our accommodation.
