Sexual empowerment of women with a disability
My name is Indya Connley, and I am currently an honours student at RMIT University Melbourne, conducting an art research project into sexual empowerment of women with a disability.
As a part of this project I am creating a small photographic portrait series featuring deaf women using sign to talk about sexuality. The participants should be open, and willing to talk about relationships, sex, love, and many topics in between. I am currently looking for expressions of interest for anyone who thinks that they might enjoy this. It will be a fun, and positive experience and the intention is to have a casual conversation and foster an environment for women to share their thoughts and experiences.
Participants would ideally be able to attend a shoot at my home studio in Yarraville at selected times between the 16th April - 22nd April, but I am more than happy to arrange alternative options if required.
There will be an Auslan interpreter present also. If you know of anybody who would like to be a part, I would greatly appreciate you passing on this message, and respondents can contact me via this email address, or on 0435 489 270 for further information.
I look forward to hearing from you,
