Our Auslan 101: Introduction program is designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of Auslan, the language of the Australian Deaf community. Over 12 engaging hours, this course focuses on everyday vocabulary and phrases, enabling participants to establish rapport and communicate effectively with Deaf individuals in personal and public settings. Through interactive role-playing scenarios, participants will learn essential signs, understand numbers, and engage in meaningful exchanges on topics such as weather, transportation, and directions.
This course offers a welcoming and supportive environment for absolute beginners or those with minimal exposure to Auslan, ensuring that all participants leave with practical communication skills and newfound confidence.
