Daisy and the Muir brothers were trailblazers, inspiring many through their leadership, advocacy, and community work. Daisy, in particular, left a lasting legacy as a talented and caring role model for Deaf women. Though their work, the Muir family strengthened the Victorian Deaf community and its integration into broader society.

Lovett Room - Collingwood
Jill Lovett, originally from England, represented Great Britain in swimming at the 1965 World Deaf Games and later moved to Australia with her husband, John, where she continued her involvement in sports and supported his leadership in Deaf sports. Together they raised two sons, and Jill contributed significantly through volunteer work with the Deaf community and beyond.
