- Public transport training - train, bus, tram, taxi.
- Attending social events like Deaf Club or birthday party.
- Accessing public services like Centrelink.
- Teaching how to use assistive technology like apps or smart devices at home.
- Skill development - how to pay bills, how to clean your house, how to take care of yourself if needed.

Is a Sign Guide a qualified interpreter?
No, a Sign Guide is not a qualified interpreter. Sign Guide is professionally trained and will tell you when and if an Auslan interpreter is needed in formal setting for e.g. legal or medical appointment. Sign Guides are cheaper per hour than a qualified interpreter.
