Executive Assistant

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides executive support and serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the CEO Office.

The Executive Assistant serves as a liaison with the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team, with responsibility for the coordination, preparation, distribution and quality management of Board and Committee papers. The role is also responsible for internally coordinating Auslan interpretation for Board/SMT/CEO meetings.

To be successful in this role you will bring a wealth of experience, including having previously supported executives in previous roles. A keen eye for detail and an ability to work under pressure will be vital, and high levels of communication (written and verbal/Auslan) professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive and/or confidential matters are a must.

About You

  • Demonstrated high level administration skills and interpersonal skills including a mature and resilient demeanour.
  • 5 years or more experience in supporting an executive position.
  • High levels of initiative when working without direct supervision.
  • Attention to detail and discretion surrounding confidential matters.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Proven experience planning and organising work schedules.
  • A high degree of discretion, confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS office suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal/Auslan.
  • Ability and willingness to foster and initiate continuous improvement in systems and procedures.
  • Experience working in a bi-lingual, bi-cultural environment would be advantageous.
