Hearing Aids with NDIS

If you are an NDIS participant for hearing you may be eligible to receive services under the Australian Government’s Hearing Service Program (HSP). This includes regular hearing health care and subsidised hearing aids.

Can I get hearing aids through NDIS?

If you are an NDIS participant for hearing, you may be able to get hearing services through the Hearing Services Program (HSP).

Hearing aids funded under this program are fully subsidised, meaning there is no cost.

You can contribute to the cost of your hearing aids if you want a model with a higher level of technology.

You can pay for this hearing aid contribution yourself or apply to have it funded through your NDIS plan.

Hearing aid batteries and maintenance for devices can also be funded by your NDIS plan.
